Texas Flood Tragedy Victims Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 7, 2025.
More than 80 people died in tragic flash floods along the Guadalupe River in Texas Hill Country during the Fourth of July holiday weekend of 2025.

"Our hearts continue to grieve for our fellow Texans who have endured unspeakable loss," said Governor Greg Abbott said.

As of Monday, July 7, the confirmed number includes 75 in Kerr County - including 27 campers and counselors at Camp Mystic, a Christian girls' summer camp - as well as 14 in nearby counties. Local authorities expect that number to rise in the days to come, as those currently missing are accounted for.

You can give to relief efforts for the affected communities, and leave condolences in the guest book, on this page (see below).
