I was saddened to hear that Phil had left this earthly life; but joyful he is home with Jesus. We will all miss him. I am grateful for the time that Phil was my bell buddy, playing beside me in the Mary Bells. Praying for God's peace and comfort for you and your family.

Helen and family. We are saddened by the passing of Phil but thankful for the memory of our good times in Port Isabel and South Padre Island over many years. We fondly remember our first taste of your hospitality and board games in your home. I was amazed to meet people who knew where Grinnell College was and who shared memories of COLD Iowa winters. We helped each other become a part of that part of the world and always enjoyed our time together. We especially have enjoyed your annual Christmas card hand drawn which served to keep us in rouch over the miles.Helen. Thanks for the memories. Love. Foster and Jean Rinefort

Phil was one of my best friends and colleagues in ministry. From the time we were seminary classmates in Philadelphia, he was a caring, loving, sincere, faithful friend. We share many fun times and wonderful discussions. My life is enriched for having Phil in it. I shall miss him greatly. May he rest in peace.
