Thelma Wills Riley

Thelma Wills Riley passed away on January 18, 2005. She was the beloved wife of James A. Riley, Jr. The daughter of the late Melville and Edolia A. Wills. Mother of James A. Riley, III. Grandmother of Bria Chelsea and James A. Riley, IV. Sister of the late Rapheal Wills. Aunt of Frank Vincent, Jr., Carol Vincent Durke, Harriet Vincent all of Los Angeles, CA., Julia Navarre of Baton Rouge, LA. and the late Doris McDaniels. Sister-in-law of Rose Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA. Cousin of Ed and Azie Stevenson, Dr. Roderick Stevenson, Thelma Tollerson, John and Antionette Williamson, Dianna Stewart and Samera Simmons. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, pastors, officers and members of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, employees of Orleans Parish School Board (Dept. of Social Workers), Judges and Staff of Juvenile Court, New Orleans Police Department, United States Secret Service and the Orleans Parish District Attorney's office are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 2700 Louisiana Ave. at 11:00 AM. Rev. Victor T. McCullough will officiate. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
