In memory of
Mark Glazer

I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Professor Bick. He was always friendly to me and had a kind word for me despite my never having competed for him or been in any of his classes. All my fellow students who did so always spoke so highly of Professor/Coach Bick. Sincerest condolences to the Bick Family and all those who remember him as the wonderful man and person I will always remember. Humble, kind and a true Champion!

I was shocked to hear of Ted's passing. As a colleague in the 60s and 70s he got me into running and changed my life for ever. He even sold me my first pair of custom made running shoes. My best wishes to his family on the loss of such an extraordinary individual.

Ted was our beloved "Professor Bick".
Along with our Mom, Aunt Angie we thought the world of Ted and the many, many happy times we spent together singing all the "front parts" of old
songs. He was a faithful visitor to Aunt Angie when she was ill, a true and faithful friend to all who knew him and a superb athlete who always gave his best. With deepest love and
sympathy, Fran and Mike Bartholomew

Sorry to hear of Ted's passing. I have lost a teacher, a coach and a friend who was a shining example of what Union College is and what it stands for. Assuming Ted is now working on getting his marathon time down :-)

I have fond memories of Professor Bick's math classes at Union College in the 80's. Later in life, saw him many times around campus. He always had time for a chat and chuckle. He will be remembered and missed.

Anyone who was privileged enough to meet Ted, they will have lasting memories of a wonderful person who was generous with his time and loved working with his students. I was a computer science graduate of Union College and enjoyed taking Ted's math classes. And, when taking a photography class, Ted was happy to sit for my assignment (contrasting light).
We will miss Ted and his love of life long learning.
