Dear Family,
We did NOT know Mr. Braun at all, but we used to see him in the cemetery frequently sitting on the lawn chair he got out of his car trunk next to his wife's grave. We used to say hello and once we told him how much we admired his loyalty...he thanked us through his tears...
We thought he was a good man and after reading his obit we KNOW he was a good and holy man! We need more people like him..."Well done, my good and faithful servant!" Rest in Peace!

Mr. Braun was one of the best teachers I had. He made math, science and every subject so interesting and fun. He was always very nice and engaging. In more recent years, I enjoyed the quick visits with Mr. and Mrs. Braun at St. Michaels or Richards restaurant after church. He was a kind man and an inspirational teacher and will be missed. Our Sympathy to Laura and Carl and your families.

Ted was a long-time valued member of our bee club and I always enjoyed visiting with him and talking about bees. When he retired from beekeeping a few years back, my son and I stopped by his house to buy some of his equipment. We both thoroughly enjoyed him taking the time to show us all around his beautiful property and learning about all the hard work he had put into building his home himself and about how much he had enjoyed teaching for many years as well as his many adventures in beekeeping!

Ted and Donna were the one constant in our family. There was so much love in our lives with Ted and Donna here. All were always welcome at their home. When too many were visiting they would give up their bedroom and stay at their "little love nest camper"or at Bill and Mitzis. The wonderful times will be forever remembered!. Thank you God for blessing our family with Ted and Donna. Carol or as Ted called me,"sis" and Donna called me "Moosie Mae".

as a sister of Ted, we were always so happy to visit him and Donna. In no time at all it was time to go home with our heavy heart. He and Donna took such wonderful care of our aging mother who passed in 2012 at 99. No one could have done more or better! God personified! Now Carl and Laurie did the same for Ted. Thankyou!

I remember when Mr. Braun, as my sixth grade teacher, ate an apple core in class to show us that the entire fruit was edible. One of my favorite quotes from him is: Being called "dense isn't bad. Sparse is." Whenever the word is misused I think of him.
As family friends we kept in touch for decades. He was a kind, humorous man; always teaching and sharing. <3 Earth is at a loss, while heaven is blessed. You're in my heart Laura, Carl ...
