Ted "Shaky Jake" Brogan was one of my closest friends in the Marine Corps....I loved him like a brother.....
I miss his hunting stories and how he loved his wife Christine and his son Aaron! We served together in Desert Storm and I will cherish forever the time we spent together! We'll be hunting in Heaven Jake!

I served in the Marines with Teddy. Great guy. He let me use his yellow 1969 Ford LTD when I had rifle range detail. Semper Fi brother Ted. Save me a seat at the table my friend.

I have known Ted for last 15 or so years, and have to say that I could not have asked for a better friend. He always went out of his way to help you out whether you were stranger or a friend. I met him in a hunting club, when I wasn't sure about a property, he simply called me and we met up and he showed me around the property, and we became friends. If there was something that needed doing, he was the first person to
step up, and was willing to do anything, usually with a smile and some good natured razzing. I was shocked to find out about his death, and Sandy and my prayers are with his family. I realize this is a little over a month since he passed, but I just found out about his passing.

Sorry for your loss Brogan family. I served with Ted in the early 90's. Crazy guy that always made you laugh!

My name is Danny Boaz, and I served with Brogan (as we called him) in the United States Marine Corps back in 1990-1992. We were stationed in Southern California, and made many great memories there. I wasn't Brogan's favorite Marine, but we always had a go

My name is Danny Boaz, and I served with Brogan (as we called him) in the United States Marine Corps back in 1990-1992. We were stationed in Southern California, and made many great memories there. I wasn't Brogan's favorite Marine, but we always had a good time taunting each other. We were just a bunch of young Jarheads full of piss & vinegar, with our whole lives in front of us, and not too many cares in the world. Some of the best memories of my lifetime were made there with Jake & the boys. Sometimes, I wish I could go back to that place, even if it were just for a day or two. I'll never forget Brogan & all of the other crazy Marines that I served with. Thanks for the memories Brother & I hope to see you again one day.
