MOUNT PLEASANT - Services for Theodore Wesley "T.W." Gamble, 80, of Omaha, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, in Omaha, with the Rev. D.O. Sanders, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery in Omaha. Arrangements are by Tumey Mortuary. Mr. Gamble died June 29, 2009, in Longview.
Born December 24, 1928, in Omaha, he served in the U.S. Army, worked 15 years for the City of Los Angeles, retired as a pipe threader from Lone Star Steel and was a member of Union Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. The body may be viewed 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at the funeral home. No formal visitation is planned.
