Theodore G. "Ted" Karras

Even after all of these years .. there is no way to say 'so long'. Ted was just one of those people we will always remember fondly - 'til we meet again.

Digging in a box, I found a painting of a train, signed by Theodore G Karas. Could it be this Mr Karas?

Anna, I am so sorry to hear of Teddy's passing. I loved taking care of him while I was at Hartsfield. He was such a loving man. So glad I had the honor of getting to know him for a short time. Prayers for you and the entire family.

We had the honor of getting to know Ted Karras Sr when he helped his son Ted Jr. coach at Andrean and St. Xavier University. Our prayers go out to the entire Karras family.

Anne, Ted, Tony and Jeff, we sent our deepest sympathies for your whole extended family at this time of your husband/dad's passing. He was an outstanding community leader (as I remember him) in Miller and will always be remembered. May you all find strength to know he touched many lives. My Yiayia was Ted's Godmother.we share the same birthday - Jan. 31st I'd see him at OMNI. He would substitute teachat Lew Wallace. God bless the family. May his memory be eternal.

Mr. Karras was my gym teacher at Spohn in the late 80s. Even with his history of being in the NFL, he was very humble. He was a very nice man and teacher. I was very sorry to read of his passing and send my condolences to the family.

Mr. Karras was my Gym teacher at Spohn middle school in Hammond IN. Good man. He didn't say much, but he was kind, quietly funny and fair. Rest in peace, sir.
