Even after all of these years .. there is no way to say 'so long'. Ted was just one of those people we will always remember fondly - 'til we meet again.

Digging in a box, I found a painting of a train, signed by Theodore G Karas. Could it be this Mr Karas?

He was my childhood hero & role model. He was orderly, organized and a "get it done" guy. As an offensive guard, he was the Bears Offensive Team Captain which speaks for his on and off the field character & conduct. Glad I could meet his family."Zoe Se Sas" Greek for "Life to You." Tony Logan

Anna, I am so sorry to hear of Teddy's passing. I loved taking care of him while I was at Hartsfield. He was such a loving man. So glad I had the honor of getting to know him for a short time. Prayers for you and the entire family.

As a young man who was coached by a no-nonsense ex NFL warrior was an experience
most would decline...NOT here- I was & am grateful. Thanks Coach.

Mr. Karras was my gym teacher at Spohn in the late 80s. Even with his history of being in the NFL, he was very humble. He was a very nice man and teacher. I was very sorry to read of his passing and send my condolences to the family.

Mr. Karras was my Gym teacher at Spohn middle school in Hammond IN. Good man. He didn't say much, but he was kind, quietly funny and fair. Rest in peace, sir.
