Ted, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be where I am today. You inspired me, and continued to inspire me, when so many other people had given up on me. You continue to inspire me to this day; your words and kindness remain. We shared a mutual understanding of life, a desire to achieve, and to overcome. You won't be forgotten; it's not possible to forget someone as incredible as you were. Erica, I'm so sorry. I remember last he and I spoke, his heart was with you. His love lives on.

Erica ,
You and Ted were two rays of sun when I first met you that weekend in Plantation when I was taking you out to look at rental properties !
We immediately clicked . He was so happy , energetic , driven and you made the most gorgeous couple .
Shortly after I found you your house in a weekend and it was amazing to see you two blossom and plan and dream about all there was to come in your new place and with your new life in Coral Springs.
Ted was sweet, passionate , thoughtful , caring , full of life ... so it saddens me deeply to see such a wonderful soul leave us so soon.
There was not one time that I drove by Waterside that I did not think about you guys . And I know I will for the rest of my time in this town .
My deepest condolences and all my love to you Erica . I know Ted is watching over you - you were his everything !

Ted was a student in two of my classes at Binghamton University. He was a welcome addition to my class. He challenged all of us to look for the best in others. He, indeed, was a brilliant student. I loved talking with and listening to him. I will always remember his beautiful smile and good nature. We all shall miss him -- I am so sorry for your great loss.

I met Ted the Saturday night before his passing. It was my first time meeting him and his bubbly and witty personality was fun to be around. Reading all the messages it's not surprising that he was loved and respected by so many and I'm honored to have had the pleasure of meeting him that day. My deepest condolences go out to Erica and Ted's family. May you find peace in his memory and the good works that's his legacy.

I had Ted in several of my BSU classes and learned a lot from him: the way he posed questions, the way he politely answered my posts, the kindness he showed in the online groups he and I worked in. Even though we never usually meet our classmates in OPWL, I felt like I knew Ted through his expressive writing. My thoughts are with you, Erica.

I learned a great deal from Ted this past semester in the OPWL program. His advice for future students taking the Workplace Performance class both encouraged me professionally and made me laugh. Thinking of you from the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Although I'm in the same program at Boise State, I did not have the honor of meeting your husband, but reading his obituary brought me to tears.
What a great man and I'm truly sorry for humanity's loss.
I pray for you and I pray that his death is used to help propel mental health into the limelight, especially for men.
God keep you.

As one of Ted's former instructors at BSU, I am devastated for his family of this news. In class, Ted was so brilliant to work with. He kept me on my toes by asking thought-provoking questions. Gone way too soon, he will be sorely missed.

I only knew Ted through the last class I took at Boise State. He was so helpful and caring, even to us distance learning teammates, we could definitely feel his empathy and caring across the bits and bytes. I'm glad to have known Ted and I'm very sad he's gone. I'm so sorry to all his family for the void that now surely exists where Ted once was.

Erica, YOU are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I cannot begin to think what you are going through, but I want to be the best friend I can be to you. Keep reaching out and I'll do the same. Your extended family and friends will get through this with you together. You are not alone and are hands down one of the very strongest women that I know.

Erica, I am so very sorry for the loss of Ted. My time working with him will always remain among my fondest memories and I think about him often. He made such a positive impact on so many lives, it's a tragedy that his time was so troubled and ultimately cut far to short. His passion for everything he did was contagious and his love for you was always his driving force. I trust you can draw some comfort knowing he will forever be watching over you. On behalf of myself and everyone at our Y, we are so sorry for your loss and pray for you and Teds family. If you ever need anything, please just ask.

Hello Erica . I heard the tragic news a few days ago. I want to tell how very sorry I am for you loss. I still cannot believe it and I cannot imagine how you feel.
I absolutely loved Teddy. He was quite a character . I enjoyed his company whenever I was fortunate enough to be with the two of you. I enjoyed your company as well.
I cannot imagine the difficulties he must of struggled with being the gregarious nature of his.
I would like you to know I will be thinking about you and I am here if you need me, not sure what I would be able to do but you have a shoulder, an ear and a friend in me.
My heart is hurting for you my dear.
Love you!

I briefly worked with Ted. Sadly, we didn't have enough time to truly get to know him but the small moments we did speak, he was full of life, he smiled a lot, and had a great personality. I wish your family all the blessings and healing.

Ted was a huge presence in our community. He brought with him sunshine and laughter. He always checked in with us, even when a garage door was open. Our thoughts and prayers are with Erica at this time.
