I am shocked and deeply saddened at Ted's passing, He and I were fraternity brothers and roommates for our junior and senior undergraduate years at University of the Pacific. Upon graduation, we went our separate ways but kept in touch over the years. As a career military man, I had a number of occasions to visit Washington, and I was able to see Ted on a number of those visits. I can remember various occasions in our college years when Ted's personality and beliefs were evident. I admired him, and I cherish our years of friendship. I send my deep condolences to Lady and Ted's family.
