Theodore G. Satersmoen

I think Ted must have started with the Star Tribune as a District Manager in 1944 and 17th and Chicago was one of his two stations. I was a carrier, as was my best frend, and I was the station manager, too. We delivered morning, evening and Sunday then, up at 5 a.m. everyday.
Ted was a good manager, we liked him, and we made terrific money for the times. Plus he was a lot of fun. I've got some great stories and memories of those 2 1/2 years--64 years later and now 80 myself.

Ted was a good neighbor to our parents for many years. May he rest in peace.

Ted was my district manager in the late 1970s when I delivered the old Minneapolis Star and Sunday Tribune. He treated us well, and always gave us extra prizes. He taught us kids the value of hard work. My condolences to the family.
