My very sincere sympathies to the Sourkes family. I have nothing but the greatest respect and admiration for Prof Sourkes. In my early years at McGill Ted was a constant source of support, with both encouragement and often providing a very healthy and constructive challenge. Prof Sourkes was a giant at McGill, whose presence defined excellence in science and academia.
