In addition to mandolins, Irish music, and rocks, Tedd and I also shared a love for Mazda Miatas, or as he referred to them, our "half-cars." Last September, Tedd and Peg, their neighbors, and Judy and I spent a glorious afternoon on the roads alongside the St. Croix, tops down and the wind blowing through what was left of our hair. I feel blessed to have known Tedd and to have been in the presence of his enthusiastic embrace of the small pleasures of life.

A few weeks ago I was thinking about Tedd on his journey - it was 3 a.m. and I needed to nebulize to fix a breathing problem - so emailed Tedd with some memories - a few minutes later he responded, "Looks like I'm not the only one that doesn't sleep! "
Tedd is always 100% - he connects, he listens - he knows only how to be himself.
Good at life, and a gentleman in leaving. Talented - humble and he knows how to play all those instruments he talks about - intent on sharing the good time.
Generous - he dropped everything when I needed his advice in choosing a mandolin at the Podium.
Peggy and Tedd - perfect - a beautiful loving couple - with friends and family.
They shared Philadelphia - all the good spots - with Mary and I at the mandolin convention. Fun
Tedd stays in our hearts - enjoy his gift, Peggy. Love

I worked at the Oakdale Menards for almost 20 years. I check the obituaries from time to time because I have met so many wonderful customers in my time there. Ted was one of the regulars I would see and he was such a nice guy always had a positive attitude. He probably wrote the most profound obituary I have ever read. I like what he said about spirit/energy transfer. I would like to think a guy like Ted his spirit and energy would live on forever. My deepest condolences!

The world is an emptier place without Tedd. A man of many interests and more friends. That laugh! Remember you always.

Peggy - we are so sad to hear that Tedd passed away. He was a great guy and was always lots of fun to be around. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work with him and call him friend at CenterPoint Energy. We are glad to have had the opportunity to get to know you through Tedd, too. We had some crazy, fun times together. Sending our love and hugs to you, Peggy, in the loss of someone so dear. Tedd will forever be remembered and will hold a special place in our hearts.

My husband Phil and myself, Betsy had the good fortune to meet Tedd and the lovely Peggy at USD in Vermillion while Phil was getting a degree in Biochemistry. Tedd was working at the local jewelers at the time and actually set the stone for my wedding ring. So, I am lucky to have a reminder of Tedd and his excellent workmanship with me at all times. Along with several other 20ish students and significant others, we were to be found most weekends at either Leo's or the Char Bar. After particularly crazy nights, Tedd would become "Eddy" to my "Betty". Those were the days! We attended each others' weddings or I can say Tedd and Peggy attended the reception to our wedding. They were staying in Connecticut and their host left the keys inside his house which delayed the trip down to Long Island. Over the years we have visited Tedd and Peggy when they lived in Philadelphia and St. Paul as they have visited us in Texas and Oklahoma. Our times together always included lots of laughs, games, and great food. We will miss you Theodore. When I pass, please meet me in that bright light and steer me clear of the accordion music! Love you forever! Betsy
