Theresa Brindock Obituary
Theresa was born in Bloomfield, New Jersey in October of 1923, to Stella and Joseph Thomas. She resided her last eight years with her daughter Mary in Atlanta, Georgia.
Theresa was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Caldwell, N.J. and participated in many women's programs and volunteering activities, as well as the Church Choir. She was a leader in Girl Scouts and a member of the Women's Club. Theresa was also employed by Burrells in Livingston. She will be remembered as an incredible Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her spouse Andrew ( Andy) , and is survived by her children Patricia Wilkinson ( William ), Mary Schaefer ( Daniel ), Andrew Brindock (Marguerite ); Grandchildren Jamie Wilkinson (Cyndi), Joshua Schaefer (Elizabeth), Amanda Schaefer, Tess Westhoff ( Blake), and Maggie Dingwell( Adam); Great-Grandchildren Daisy Wilkinson, Mary Farris Schaefer, Ted Schaefer, Abby Westhoff, Eli Westhoff, Margot Dingwell, Frances Dingwell, and Lottie Dingwell.
A Memorial Mass was held in Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Atlanta, Georgia in July, with a reception to follow in the Schaefer Home. Following a Mass in August at St. Aloysius Church Caldwell, Theresa was laid to rest in Prospect Cemetery next to her spouse Andy.
Donations can be made in her honor to The Quest Atlanta Catholic Radio.
