I would like to extend my condolences to my father-in-law, Dave Myers, and to Miss Lou's children and family, for your loss. Miss Lou was as energetic and sunny as a bright flower---a true Southern Belle, feminine and tough in every way. She loved fiercely, and we were lucky to have her in our family. She will always be Mimi to my children, and we hope that she is happy in the company of Karlie. Such lives with so much light are always most painful when extinguished.

Miss Lou, thank you for having been in our lives, and for the happiness that you brought to many. I hope that you will continue to watch over those whom you love, and to shine your strength and love in the darkest times when you are needed and remembered. You will be profoundly missed.

She was always just the kindest and sweetest person I knew. I wish I could have known her better and maybe learn some of the secrets to her gardening too. Her work ethic was unmatched and motivational. I know that she is up there and getting right to work. She is going to be an amazing guardian for those she watches over, tough love with a little sugar. Ms. Lou was 1 in 7.7 billion.

Dear Sweet Lou
The Savannah sun will have to shine all the more now to make up for the light you took with you. Thank you for the love you poured into my life. Love You, Miss You, Mean It.

We were family once, if only by marriage. Since that time, you continued to treat me like family when we saw each other. You will be missed but never forgotten. May you rest in peace sweet Sissy.

Oh my Darlin'...I love you! THANK YOU for the most incredible, wonderful, amazing life we were so blessed to share. Being two givers in a race to out-give each other...you won. To pass away peacefully in my arms was a beautiful exclamation point on your effort to give me peace and all your love. You made me want to be a better man and my joy has been to give you all that I am. I'll forever strive to make you proud. I will carry you with me always. Rest easy my Lady, I'll see you soon enough.
