Peacefully on March 1, 2017, Theresa Jeffries departed this life. On Saturday March 18, 2017 services will be held from 12 Noon until time of service at 1 p.m. at The Greater First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant Plains, 2701 13th St. NW, Washington, DC 20009. Interment Private

A "GEM"; a "Diamond in the Rough"; a "Warrior standing strong on the battlefield"; a "Confidant"; a "Woman of Integrity and Guidance"; an "Example" of what many women today could only dream to be in this life. I thank God for your presence in my life for over 29 yrs!! I learned so many fabulous things about being a TRUE WOMAN from you. You taught me so many things about respect and honor and family and LIFE! I will miss our talks more than anyone will ever know, but I promise you, every now and then I'm going to look up and chit chat and laugh with you again. I will miss you dearly, but I'm grateful knowing you are in God's hands. Rest well "Angel" and continue to watch over Us. Love you so very much!

To the I love. My Mother was a Rock and a Star on the other Hand. She will always be with me. Ma, You made a grand stand on this earth and I know that The Almighty Is going to be greatiful of the work you did in this life. And I know that you are at peace. I am sad but I will do what you ask me to do, and that is to be Strong going forward. My heart is with you and I will miss you dearly. But I will keep my head up and stay strong.
