LEVING, Theresa "Terry" Theresa "Terry" (Eichermann) Leving, 86, of East Hartford the devoted wife of the late Thomas H. Leving entered into the Lord's embrace Monday, (July 10, 2006) at home with her daughters by her side. Born in Nuremberg, Germany, Terry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who found great joy in all their accomplishments. Sharing in their loss are her daughters; Susan Cohen and husband James of East Hartford, Elke Samuels and husband William also of East Hartford and Karin Govoni and her husband William of Glastonbury grandchildren; Tamara Cohen and her companion Ronald Gagnon of Glastonbury, Thomas and Angela Cohen of Plymouth MA, Daniel and Deborah Cohen of Cheshire, Kurt and Marianne Cohen of Stamford, Tanya and Michael Fahey of Glastonbury, Christopher Samuels of Tokyo, Japan, Melissa Samuels of Glastonbury, Jennifer Govoni of Vernon and Michael Govoni of San Jose, CA, and great grandchildren Matthew, Joseph, Alexandra, Marissa, Katherine, Leah, Elena, Erik, Natalie, Lauren, Alex and Luke and in Germany a niece and two nephews. She also leaves a host of friends in the Hollywood, FL. area as well as dear friend James Pathe of East Hartford. Terry was predeceased by her brother Joseph Eichermann and her first husband Kurt Spranger. She was a Communicant of St. Teresa Church and active in the Hollywood (FL) Women's Club. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 14, at 9a.m. from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Naubuc Ave, Glastonbury followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Church, 370 May Rd, East Hartford. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Hillside St. East Hartford. Friends may call on the family, Thursday, July 13 from 6-8p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Special Olympics CT, 2666 State St, Suite 1, Hamden, CT. 06517.
