I first saw Thom on Buck Rogers; never forgot him. Followed him from that time on. He is the ONLY actor I would have loved to have met. Everyone speaks of what a wonderful man he was. I will miss him. Rest In Peace, Thom.

In 1968 Thom Portelli directed me in a play called "The Other Side of the Stars". I was the Eastwind. I have such fond memories of production. Years later Thom and I would run into each other in the AEA building, often doing something with BC/EFA. It was always such a delightful encounter. On Facebook he always reminded me of the play and would call me The Eastwind. I will miss those moments.

Loved Thom as the character Hawk in Buck Rogers.
When I was diagnosed with cancer he wrote a message on my Facebook page giving me encouragement in my fight. The boost this gave me was immeasurable.
A lovely man whose kind words I shall miss.

I am very saddened by the passing of my friend Thom Christopher. I met Thom (as Thom Portelli) in 1963 when he cast me as Jury Member Number 4 in a touring US Army soldier show, Twelve Angry Men. He directed the production and played Jury Member Number 3. We toured US Army bases in Western Germany and France. I designed the next show for him. He was the only army friend with whom I stayed in touch.
Thom in Twelve Angry Men 1963.
