Thomas Bailiff, Jr. Obituary
Thomas H. Bailiff, Jr. died peacefully, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, on the eve of his 79th birthday. Born in Philadelphia, he has been a resident of Fairless Hills for 36 years.
Tom was a long time produce manager for numerous food chains, until his retirement in 1998. Throughout his life, he enjoyed gardening, cruising, surfing with the remote control, and taking care of animals, especially his beloved companion, Carmella, and his granddogs and grandcats.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Elaine (Marrone), his cherished daughters, Pam Bailiff and Kim (Anthony) D'Onofrio, and his granddaughters, Alexandra and Gabriella, the lights of his life.
He was predeceased by his parents, Anna and Thomas H. Bailiff, Sr., his sister, Nancy (Harry) Pidcock, and his grandson, Christopher. He will be sadly missed by his lifelong friends and family.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, May 6, 2018, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and on Monday, May 7, 2018, from 8:00 until 9:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 7, 2018, at 9:30 am, at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tom's name may be made to the Bucks County S.P.C.A., PO Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
