Thomas Barone Obituary
Thomas was born on Sept. 1, 1949 in Oneonta, N.Y., to Lillian Ann (Fors) Barone-Bullock, and the late William James Barone. He graduated from Norwich High School and enlisted with the Vista Volunteers of America.
In 1979, he formed the company Medical Instruments Technology, which he owned and operated for many years.
He was a Boy Scout leader, a motorcycle enthusiast, an avid Homer Simpson collector, fisherman and photographer. He enjoyed watching westerns and CSI marathons.
Thomas had a love for life, family and especially his many pets, and was a friend to everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife, Mary A. (Reid) Barone, his mother-in-law, Dollie Smith, three children, Alison Y. Reid, Jeffrey A. Reid, and Brian K. Reid, all of Hyannis; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Winters, Nicole Thompson, Myles Reid, Shawna Reid, and Brian Reid, all of Hyannis; three great-grandchildren, Skye Reid, Storm Reid, and Myles Reid Jr., all of Miami, Fla.; three sisters, Nancy Miller of Rochester, N.Y., Joanne Snover of Whitesboro, N.Y., and Linda Kiere of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, William Barone Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 25, at 11 a.m., in the New Hope Community Baptist Church, 105 Stevens St., Hyannis, MA 02601. Burial will follow in the Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit.

I just heard about Tom's passing. My brother had my old e mail address. I know it has been many years since I have seen you and Tom. We really enjoyed visiting you when I lived in Boston. You and your family are in our thoughs and prayers.
