Dear Sandy and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have a good memory of Tommy when he was a kid, when you and I hung out during high school. He was such a nice kid and I remember your fondness of him. He made fronds so easily in our neighbourhood. He grew up to be a great guy I see. Sending you a hug. Teresa

Uncle Tom. It´s your nephew Matthew. We never got to spend too much time together as I was always on the other side of the world. But I will always remember the summer of 2012 when I had first moved to Canada for school. I was 18 and You got me a job washing dishes. We went out a few times after work drinking beers and we really had some good times and conversations. You shared a lot of great stories and lessons. I learned alot from you about our family history that I had missed being so far away. You were one of the funniest people I have ever known. I will never forget those times. Anyways I know you are in a better place now. Much love from your nephew/godson Matthew.

Tom and I went to elementary school together and we quickly realized that we had lots in common - a love of music, movies and a uniquely goofy sense of humour. When I first saw the Beatles on TV, Tom was the first one that I told at school the next day. He knew the Beatles, and even better, his sister had some records. After school we played the Rock and Roll album and I was changed forever. Together we explored bands of the 60s but nothing close to our microscopic study of the Beatles. We consoled each other at 10 and 11 years old when John Lennon died and very soon after that Tom started to learn how to play guitar. I soon followed his lead and we created a band in the dreams that we would one day be John and Paul. We played, composed, performed and dreamed rock and roll. He was an absolute genius as a rhythm guitar player and I have yet to meet anyone who can develop and create a melody with their voice and guitar like Tom could. During our teenage years, band members came and went (mostly drummers), but there was always me and Tom. Although our lives grew in different directions, I was so glad to reconnect with him in the past few years. Whether it was meeting up to go to record shows or just talk on the phone about life, memories or the Beatles, it always felt like we were the same two friends that we were all those years ago. My condolences to Judy, his three children and his sisters. Your husband, your Dad and your brother was one the most creative and generous spirits I have ever met and one I am glad to have shared such important parts of my life with.

My memories of Tom are from 20+ years ago. A small group of us consistently hung out, and Tom spun records for us and told us stories about the Beatles, the Who, and Pink Floyd to name a few. He was generous and kind and fun. My sincere condolences to the family.
