Mamie Taylor LPN, Mr. Berry Touched my life in a special way. I worked at Wellspring and for Mr. Berry as a CNA when he had hip surgery. He stayed in Rehab for a while after his surgery and we conversated many nights on things that he knew well and I had no clue. He is a very special man and he will be greatly missed.

What a treasure your brother, uncle, brother-in-law was for the human race. But I'm sure you know that. You must also know how many folks revered and appreciated his wisdom and insights. He will live not only in the "hereafter," but also in generations to come who will find courage and inspiration in his message. Peace and love to you all,

Ave et Vale! Dear Cousin Nathan,

What a blessing you have been to our needy world! You have quested far and wide to discover new meaning in this glorious universe. The fruits of your labors are a lasting legacy to our thirsty world.
I treasure my memories of shared times at Riverdale, in New York (as Sacred City) embarkation from S.F. to China-lastly, at your hermitage and with a stroll in your "holy" woods in Greenmsboro.
All your western cousins send you forth to your starry home surrounded by your beloved family.
With special affection,
Cousin Gerrie Fenton

As a 19 year old collage student, I found Thomas Berry's books, and eventually the man at St John the Devine in the early 1980s. Now I am an architect, geographer and urban planner. Berry’s articulate vision our Earth Community has had a more profound influence on me than all my years in collage and grad school. Even more today his Story, Our Story serves as a beacon for what is beautiful, good and the truth in my personal, professional and spiritual life. Every day I see the impact of his work on a new generation of leaders of our Earth Community.

My prayers and sympathy are with you as you celebrate Thomas' life and bring him to his resting place in beautiful VT. He truly was a gift to all of us--so wise yet so humble.
I had the privilege of being with him on a few occasions when he spoke on behalf of Earth. He has been a mentor, guide and inspiration to me.
Blessings,
