I have been trying to find the words to express my condolences to all who knew and loved Tom, and to most especially his family...but the words aren't coming. Tom was one of the first people I met during freshman orientation at John Carroll. He had an incredible love for life. I will think of him often... My husband and I share the same wedding day as Tom and Jen; May 29, 1999. My condolences to the Bluemle family.

I graduated with Tom at SJCI 25 years ago and, although I have not seen him since, I remember him as being quick with a smile and blessed with a positive attitude that made his classmates, teammates, faculty, and staff better for having known him. I remember little Tommy Bluemle as the cutest child on the street back in Wurlitzer Park days. I'm sure he grew up to be a wonderful father and husband. I was lucky enough to have played soccer with Tommy in North Tonawanda as a teenager. He always was a hard worker and he always had a smile on his face. I'm so sorry for your loss and I will pray for him and the family.

I went to elementary school with Tommy and remember how much fun we had square dancing in gym class. He always had a smile on his face and was so kind to everyone. My condolences to the entire family.

Our deepest sympathy to the entire family. I remember "Tommy" in the mid-70's, 5 or 6 yers old, getting up at the crack of dawn to look for sharks teeth with us in Myrtle Beach. Fast forward to 1989, golfing in Cleveland, Tommy came out to join us. You should have seen the look on his face when we said we were playing for a buck a hole (he only had $3 in his pocket!). Well, he won 16 of those holes and a pocket of cash! His giant smile headed back to college! God Bless all of the Bluemle's, Jen and the children.

I have been lucky enough to have sailed with Tom for the past 13 years. He was our anchor and always made sure we all had fun while doing so even this past season that we were all blessed to have him lead us.
