Thomas Bohan

Thomas P. Bohan age 90 died on Saturday, May 17, 2025 in Sun City, Florida. He was born in Boston MA on October 7, 1934, the son of Thomas P. Bohan and Della (Connolly) Bohan. Tom grew up in Dorchester Massachusetts.

Tom served time in the United States Navy upon graduating high school. He served his country during the Korean War.

Tom met his wife, Gail, while attending college at Boston University. He married Gail Kavanagh and had 3 daughters, Carol, Caren and Phyllis. Gail died of cancer in 1969. Tom owned his own business, J.L. McIntosh until the 1990's when he retired. He later moved to Florida with his wife Micky where he enjoyed playing tennis and spending time with his dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and keeping up with their lives.

Tom was a dedicated member of AA. He recently celebrated 58 years of sobriety. He enjoyed sharing his experience, strength and hope with other members of the AA community.

He is survived by his wife Michaeleen (Sanders) Bohan, his daughters, Carol Marshall and her husband, Tim, Caren Bohan and her husband, Jeff Bartash, Phyllis Pischke and her husband, Steve, his stepson, Kevin Bohan, his grandchildren, Niko Bartash, Caleigh Bartash, Kai Pischke, Cara Pischke, and Brooke Marshall and his stepson, Jim Discenza. Tom was predeceased by his wife, Gail Bohan, his parents, and his stepson, Matthew Bohan, his sister Arline Jordan, and his brother Bob Bohan. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM in Hull MA.
