Thomas A. Bohlsen

Coach Bohlsen was a good man! He will be missed.

I enjoyed my time working for and with Tom. He was always the epitome of character and class. Everytime we met he had a smile and kind word. He will live on through all of the lives he has touched.

My heart goes out to the Bohlsen family. Tom was a man that carried one of the largest hearts. I believe it was made of gold. He was someone that I looked up to and respected. Our world is a much better place because of his dedication and devotion. Tom, you will be missed but never forgotten.

I came to know and cherish T-bone as a board member and friend of the Iota Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at Hanover College As a fraternity brother he always gracefully epitimzed and walked our basic values of cultivation of the intellect, mutual aid and assistantance, and trust (character %26 integritity). He was always there to lend a hand, and to hold us accountable and responible to our core foundation. I also highly regard his Faith and his commitment to walk in that Light wherever he went. Tom: My dearest and most faithful friend in the world, your passing has left a hole in my heart that shall not be again filled in this life. We officiated together, fellowshipped together, and talked of the joys and burdens of our lives I know well the things in your life that were pleasing to you, and those that brought you sadness and stress. God love you, my brother, all these things are now no more, as you have entered that fair land where "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for former things are passed away." You helped me in so many ways, had confidence in me, and never judged me. You were quiet and unassuming, yet stood out from the pack like a might oak tree. Though all of us will miss you with bitter tears, when the Lord calls one must answer. I have no doubt whatsoever that when you made your transition from this life to the next, you heard our Redeemer say "well done thou good and faithful servant, Enter thou in the joys of thy Lord."
