Tom, I heard the sad news about the passing of your son, Tommy, from Carol. She always spoke so highly of him and said what a wonderful son he was to you. Please accept my deepest sympathy and extend my condolences to his family. May God bless you all.

Tom, my deepest sympathy to you, Shawn, Kelly, Chelsea, Cheyanne, and your entire family. I remember Tommy mostly during his growing-up days; his hockey games (where he was a great goalie for Allderdice!), Christmas’s & holidays at his Nana and Pap’s, and even his high school graduation. I felt so welcomed by your family and feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to share in so many good times with you, Tommy, your family, & Tommy’s best friend, Brian, as well as all the friends that would drop in. As the years went by and he became a father, even though I had been away for a long time, he would welcome me as if no time had passed when I would see him. He was just always there for everybody. He will be missed by many.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

My heart goes out to Tom's family and friends. I was shocked to hear the news. I can remember all the good times with Tom. All the parties, stair diving with the goalie equipment, the endless freezer of tv dinners in the basement, the Burt jokes, the old D.J. records we listened to, rollerblading to oakland, and the list goes on. All the good memories are here to stay. It's just sad to have to say goodbye.

I know Tommy from association, ice skating, and living in Greenfield for a couple of years. Although I did not know him that well, I know that every time in passing, he was smiling and having fun. It's very sad to hear the news of his passing. My condolences go out to his girls, family, and his friends.

Words can’t express the sympathy that I have for the family and friends.

Tommy was a wonderful person who loved everyone unconditionally. The love that he had for his girls was one not to many can express, he was a wonderful father and so proud. Knowing Tommy was a blessing for me, I could never repay him for all that he had done. Even though over the years we grew apart as we both started families, he was always sure to greet me with a hug and made sure that my family and I were ok, while reassuring me that he was always just a phone call away. Tommy and his father helped me through my teenage years, especially letting me know when I was out of line as a young girl. Calling me “Squeaky” just to cheer me up and make me smile (thanks Tom!). He was my buddy for a long time, his smiling face, hugs, laugh, he taught me all about hockey (which I didn’t care for, but listened). He knew what I was up to before I did it, he also stopped me many of times. He was my shoulder to lean on when needed it most. He guided me through my toughest times and always believed in me. Weekends ice-skating, many nights just talking about life, many friends came and went, but Tommy, no matter how far away, he was always there. I will miss him dearly and many of our memories and secrets will be cherished forever. A place in my heart that will never be forgotten.

My worst nightmare has actualy happened. I never could imagine what it could feel like to lose one of my very best friends. We were always so close and had so many good times together. We were the first ones to get our friends to listen to country music. I will never forget all all the good times we had drinking and listening to our favrite music. I will remember you stair diving down the steps with your hocky gear on. Most of my child hood memeries have you in them. Even in our hardest times we were always close. I spent more time with you than my own family. I dont know what the problem was but i wish I could have been there to help and listen like you have done for me so many times.I will alway keep our memories close to my heart and only remember the best times in our lifes. All those nights on the wall at hammer will never be lost. They will always be in our dreams and memories. I always said I had Ten best friends. But what i really had was ten brothers. We were a family and you were one of my brothers and i know I will never forget you.

My Love and Prayers are with the Family and Friends that loved and cherished Tom as much as I did. We were playpen buddies and very close in our High School years. I pray that he is on the other side now watching over his two beautiful lil girls. Blessed Be.
