Thomas Carr Obituary
CARR Thomas Peter February 23, 1936 - February 21, 2009We are sorry to announce the sudden loss of Tom Carr at the age of 72. Left to mourn his passing are Marlene, his loving wife of 48 years, children Paul and Michele (Darcy), along with his cherished grandson Devin, twin sister Margaret (Marijo), sister Danica (Adam), brother Mario, many nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends. Tom was born and raised in Vancouver, spending the last 42 years in Ladner and worked over 30 years for the Corporation of Delta. His greatest passions were spending time with his family, travelling and sports fishing. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church 3900 Arthur Drive, Ladner, BC with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Delta Stroke Recovery Association 693 53rd Street, Tsawwassen, BC V4M 3B6 or a charity of your choice. Delta Funeral Home (604) 946-6040

It is with a heavy heart that I am typing words on this page. Tom was a wonderful, humorous, compassionate man whom I will miss dearly. I am grateful I was able to walk my path at the same time as he walked his. My condolences to Marlene, Michelle and Paul, family and friends.
