Tom was a friend and mentor during my 16 years at HRP. Once retired and living in SC he was ever-faithful to his friends, staying in touch and keeping us aware of the other former HRPers. Over the past year, when his health deteriorated, Tom's faith, courage, optimism & sense of humor became an inspiration to those of us who he stayed in touch with. GOD bless the Comerford family!

Diane, I was sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I remember your family well and have warm memories of our swim team days at Burning Tree. My condolences to all.

I realize that words, however kind, can't mend your heartache, but those who care and share your loss wish you comfort and peace of mind. May you find strength in the love of family and the warm embrace of friends, and know that your community stands behind you in your time of sorrow.

Tom was such a character and joker that he made our volunteer work at Waccamaw Community Hospital so much more fun. He has and will be greatly missed and we pray that God will grant you his mercy and grace during this journey to acceptance of your loss. Sincerly, Mollie Burns

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself … any man’s death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
