To The Concannon Family,

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He went to law school with my husband, and I worked on his campaign for Mayor.

A fine gentleman who will be sorely missed.

Tom Concannon was a kind and generous man. Though I did not know him very well he provided me with legal services I had no way of paying for at the time. I won't forget how he helped me. I am sad that he is no longer with us.

On behalf of all those involved with the Newton Cultural Alliance (NCA), we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Concannon family. Tom was the President of the NCA board and a thoughtful, generous and always supportive community leader with a great sense of humor. We are all so grateful to him for helping to get the NCA started and for always looking out for our well being. We are grateful, honored and humbled the NCA was chosen to receive donations in lieu of flowers and look forward to honoring Tom's wonderful contributions to the City of Newton with a memorial at the Nathaniel Allen Community Arts and Cultural Center in West Newton - the development of which began under Tom's leadership. Thank you Tom and rest in peace.

I'd like to express my deepest sympathy to the Concannon family. I first met Tom at NewTV when he was the president of our board. He used to stop by the office on the way to meetings and chat, always with a book in hand. He told interesting stories about his career, and the time he served as Newton's mayor. He had a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. Tom was a great supporter of NewTV, and the arts and cultural organizations in Newton. He was very proud of his daughters and grandchildren. Above all, he was a kind person. I will miss him, but I'm grateful to have known him. Rest In Peace, Tom.

He was a nice guy. My father served with him on the board of aldermen and he liked and respected him. My condolences to his family.

The end of an era. He cared for people and always gave his best. Never disappointed his client, friends, or family. I will miss him, and I wish his family my sincerest condolences. I respected him as a brother attorney, and friend knowing that he could be depended on to always be truthful and a pleasure to deal with.

To the Concannon Family

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I had the great pleasure of meeting Tom, when I was a young ADA in Newton District Court. He was simply a great guy, who cared about people.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Michael Sullivan
