Had not seen TJ in many years but we used to talk a bit back in the early 90s when we were both around the trading community in Boston and he was an easy guy to like and I´ve never forgotten him. I hope his life was full and he enjoyed many years in the Florida sun.
God rest his soul.

Great tribute to TJ. Always looked up to him when we played at Bosco together. Loved his locker room laugh and rants. Hated that "we´re losing" stare! You knew when he didn´t think you were working hard enough. He made me a better player mainly by stepping up fast and crushing me coming down the wing at practice when I had my head down, which was often in those early years. I think he enjoyed teaching me not to do that "in the big leagues Curran ". I´m proud to say I listened, became a better player and am still here (with my head attached) to tell him "thanks TJ, well done and we´ll see you in hockey heaven brother".

To the family, I am sorry for your loss. I loved being around TJ. We all did. I´ll have a good thought for you and will say a prayer for you from far away.

TJ was one of my early idols growing up, playing youth hockey at QYH Arena and seeing his picture on the wall that showed where Quincy HS players were. He was the one that stood out to me because he went to Don Bosco where I would eventually go. I followed his career and met him many times as I got older through BU guys like Kevin Mitch (RIP). To me those guys were heroes. I´m sad that TJ is gone but it should be known that for at least one little kid from Dorchester, he helped shape my life and for that, I am eternally grateful. Rest in Peace, 7.
