Thomas J. Corcoran, age 77 of Henrico, Virginia passed away peacefully at Discovery Village Memory Care Facility while under Hospice care on April 10, 2024 from complications due to Alzheimer's disease. Born to Timothy J. Corcoran Sr. and Theresa Gartland Corcoran, in Philadelphia, PA. Tom had resided in Henrico for the last 25 years.

Tom was a graduate of Ridley Township, PA High School, Class of '66, and Hiram Scott College in Scottsbluff, NE., Class of '70. As a young man Tom served Ridley Park, PA as a volunteer firefighter with Leedom Fire Company. Tom had a successful career in banking, consulting, and human resources taking him and his family to Connecticut, Indiana and Virginia. Tom retired in 2004 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources for United Dominion Realty Trust. A deeply religious man, Tom was a 40-year member of the Men of Malvern Catholic Retreat House. Tom loved being with his family & friends and loved his family reunions at the Jersey Shore.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda M. Reynolds Corcoran, his sons Richard T. Corcoran and Steven M. Corcoran. He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Corcoran and his twin brother, Timothy J. Corcoran Jr.

A Memorial Mass will be held on May 17th at 1:00 PM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Rd, Richmond, VA 23229. Interment will remain private. A celebration of life will follow the mass at Tarant's West, 11129 Three Chopt Rd, Henrico, VA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation (https://alzfdn.org/) or the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Virginia (https://wish.org/va).
