Thomas Costin Obituary
Blair was a beloved physician of fifty plus years in Burlington, Ontario. Blair also had a wonderful life of love from his family. His wife of 60 years, Penelope (nee Paul), and his many children: Crystal, Matthew, Victoria, Pharoah, Charmaine, Daren, Trevor, Anna, Liza, and Marcel. He is predeceased by his children Jonathon, Shawn, Joseph, and Carol. His children loved and honoured him. He was also the very happy grandfather of 27 grandchildren, and the great-grandfather of 8 little ones! He loved life.
Blair will be remembered for his love of God, love of family, and love for all God put in his care.

Dr. Costin was our family doctor from the time we moved to Burlington in 1970 until his retirement. He was an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and giving man. HIs dedication to his patients was remarkable. He made house calls, phoned to wish us well before an operation, visited us in the hospital before going to his office, and was readily available should a need arise. His willingness to listen to and help with personal and family matters was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed his cheerfulness and sense of humour. He was a man of faith who loved God, life, his patients, and his family. Close to his retirement he told me he was looking forward to spending time with his family. On behalf of the Suitor family, we thank Dr. Costin´s family for sharing him with us and send them our deepest condolences.

Dr. Costin was always so respected in our community as a man of principle who always stood up for what he believed. He and his family put words to action even when it was difficult. Sincere condolences to Penny and all the family.

Dr Costin...how much we loved him. Kind, gentle, always willing to listen & understand. He was our family doctor since 1965, and would help & provide care whenever needed. The Harper Family will always remember & hold close to our hearts his love.

Dr Costin was an amazing man he was our family Dr for many years. He went above and beyond what most people would do. I remember when my mother was very ill he would stop by my parent´s house and check and see how she was doing. To me that showed he was much more than a Dr he was a great man who cared for everyone. He will be missed by many I am sure. God bless him.

Amazing man and a wonderful doctor. He was out doctor for over 35 years. He delivered my brother and I and my mom named my brother Blair. Dr C also assisted in the delivery of my own son 21 years ago. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Dr Costin was my doctor for over 45 years he took care of my dad and mom and my husband and his family delivered all my babies he was amazing!!! They sure don´t make them like him anymore

I´m so very sorry to read this sad news...when we moved to aburlington in 1977 our family became patients of Dr. ACostin. He was not only our family doctor but a friend ..condolences to all his family ! Good bless!

We moved to Tamarac Dr when I was 3. I remember going to Dr. Costin in his home on White Pines, the aquarium in the waiting room was always a favorite. I also remember house calls, such a wonderful man he was. He looked after my parents for probably 50 years and for that I thank him eternally. Rest in peace, a beautiful soul
