Thomas G. Crawford, passed away at his home after an extended lung illness on August 11, 2024, at the age of 79, in Green Valley, AZ. Tom was born on April 14, 1945, in Glendive, Montana, to Robert and Mary Crawford.

Tom graduated from Dawson County High School, Glendive MT in 1963. Upon graduation, Tom left for the Army National Guard. Tom served in Special Forces Airborne and was discharged in 1969.

On July 12, 1969, Tom married Sally Cecrle Crawford in Missoula, MT. Tom and Sally lived in Missoula and then in 1970 moved to Billings, MT, living there until 2017. In 2017 they retired to Green Valley AZ.

Tom had an insurance agency in Billings, MT for 37 years with Farmers Insurance Group. Making many lifelong friends with his contagious, outgoing and caring personality. He never knew a stranger.

Tom enjoyed stock car racing, hunting and fishing. Tom enjoyed being with his family and friends and stayed close to many classmates from Glendive. You could always count on Tom for a good laugh and fun times. Tom's singing and playing the guitar was a bridge that connected him to everyone he was around. From his children and grandchildren, who grew up surrounded by his passion for music, to relatives, friends and strangers. His gift was in making others feel loved, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his music. He spent hours playing at home, private functions and assisted living facilities.

Tom leaves behind; his wife Sally of Green Valley AZ, his son Don Crawford of Billings MT, daughter Nikki Kaup and husband Shawn Kaup of Kalispell MT. Brother, Ken (Pam) Crawford of Mesa AZ and sister, Bobbie (Wes) Walton Wickenburg, AZ. Five grandchildren; David Crawford, Abbigayle Crawford, Kourtney (Casey) Reichenbach, Colby (Aaliyah) Friede and Lacie Kaup. One great grandbaby; Hadley Friede. Brother and sister in-laws; Joan Taylor of Central Point OR, Larry (Edie) Cecrle of Stevensville, MT, Carol (Roger) Bergslien of Green Valley, AZ, Jim (Ann) Cecrle of Havre, MT, and Gary (Joy) Cecrle of Lewistown, MT. Tom has numerous nieces and nephews that he dearly loved and they have many wonderful, crazy, fond memories of their Uncle Tom.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert Crawford, Mary Crawford , in-laws; Shorty and Aggie Cecrle. Brother; Dick Crawford, two sisters; Penny Crawford Reich and Darlene Crawford Johnson and brother-in-law; Billy Hogue.

Tom donated his body to the University of Arizona School of Medicine, Willed Body Program. Tom is continuing to teach and educate today. Tom was very happy and proud to be able to donate and was sure his lungs had students saying "OMG".
