Very sad to read about Rev. Tom Davis' passing, nay union with the Lord and Savior [I came to know very belatedly, as I was overseas for last ten years]. I have always remembered him with gratitude and warmth for the last thirty years, since he kindly offered his most gracious and magnanimous help when I landed for the first time as an international student in Greenville with missing baggage, and was at a loss as to how to reach Clemson. Rev. Davis kindly offered to drop me off at Clemson - as his son Stephen had come to pick him up. It's truly the Lord's Grace Rev. Davis' magnanimity that saw me - a stranger in a new land - reach Clemson late that evening. I shall always remember Rev. Davis' divine help that brought me to Clemson and provided much-needed respite from my troubled journey. May his soul rest in Peace, in God. With profound sadness and respects,

Tom was one of the dearest souls I've ever known. My oldest 1st cousin, nephew to my mother, Lucy Davis Rasula, a person who touched so many with the gift of being genuine.

We are missing Tom so much. He was our parish priest when we were Clemson residents. We had the highest respect for him. Twelve years after we moved out of state, our daughter insisted in asking him to perform vows at her wedding. We were so happy that he and Fran made the trip. We will never forget them. Condolences to his family We did not know if his passing until the day of the funeral, otherwise we would have been there among the mourners. Rest in peace, Tom.

The people of Resurrection in Greenwood received great spiritual benefit from the ministry of Fr. Davis during his many Sundays here, as interim rector and as vacation supply. We remember Tom's loving ways, his good humor, and his excellent preaching. He encouraged me in my ministry in so many ways. May he rest in peace and rise in glory!

Tom Davis was our most favorite rector. He was the priest who helped our family through a hard time and then performed our marriage over 44 years ago. Whenever we met him, he always greeted us with such a wonderful smile that it made the day much better. Mike remembers being Tom's first Senior Warden at Holy Trinity and the two working to start a fantastic ministry. I remember one Sunday when Tom called us at home asking "if we were missing #4?" We had taken two cars and each thought the other had the youngest child. Thanks to Tom we still have #4. We know that he is at rest with his Boss. God speed, Tom Davis.

A life well lived. He was so good to our family after my mother passed away in 1972. Never forgotten...
Father Tom was so instrumental in my life as a teenager prior and during my mother's passing in early 1972, his first funeral at Holy Trinity. He also helped me with the transition from serving in South Korea (after Vietnam ended) back to life in Clemson.

Father Tom was so instrumental in my life as a teenager prior and during my mother's passing in early 1972, his first funeral at Holy Trinity. He also helped me with the transition from serving in South Korea (after Vietnam ended) back to life in Clemson. When I first moved back to the Clemson area in late 2014, Father Tom was the first person I wanted to see. His gracious reception was awe-inspiring - he said "you look like your mother", a compliment in my eyes. He was not just a minister, but more a teacher and a counselor. He was a visionary and truly a connection for my family! I will always remember Father Tom with affection and warmth. Look homeward, angel - now take a rest. You will always be with me as "one of a kind". (Picture: Father Tom on the left at our English Tea in 2015)

Father Tom was so important in my life prior to and during my mom's passing in 1972, adjusting to coming back from S. Korea and later having a fond friendship with Father Tom when I moved back to the area in late 2014. I know his heavenly journey is glorious and swift. I send my continued love and affection to a true Christian visionary who "walked the talk".

I was very saddened to learn of Father Davis' passing. I, as a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Anderson,SC had the pleasure to interact with him when he came to to us when Father Jack was out of town or had other obligations.
Reverend Davis was a very fine person and I consider it a privilege to have known him
My prayers are going out to the family, asking GOD's peace and strength to each and every one.

Andrea, Your father was an amazing person and the best minister in every way that I have ever known. I was always captivated by his sermons and his ability to stray from the "let's not offend anyone" into meaningful insight. He counseled my husband I before we were married and performed the service. He was there for me when when my father died and it meant the world to me. When we would come back to Clemson for visits he always made us feel like we had never left. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
