Requiescas in pace, Keith. Too soon gone but with an enduring legacy left for your family, friends, and especially your students. We of your Spotsylvania High School family will treasure all the more our memories of your scholarship, humor and humanity. May your family take comfort in knowing that you were loved and admired in your formative as well as your adult years.

The accomplishments and achievements [per his obit] were neither surprising nor monumental to me. That's Keith! However, my most significant Keith memory was when we, two-bearded dudes, eye acknowledging one another, passed on Caroline St. in Fredericksburg, Va. sometime around 1973/1974. He being the first to do a 'name-call-out'!! This remains a Keith awestruck moment for me to this day because once becoming classmates throughout elementary and high school we were but familiar faces to each other until our juvenility ended as 1972 Spotsylvania Senior High grads. Never having the chance to tell him face-to-face, I share that now with his family as well as offer my thoughts and prayer for their loss of Keith.

Keith was a very close high school friend of mine. So many good memories together, especially in Latin Class. God bless him and his family. So many people will dearly miss him.

My sincere condolences to the Dix family. Keith was a wonderful and endearing 1972 classmate. I have fond memories of his intellect and his kindness and love for Latin.
The world was a better place because Keith was here.

I remember him well. We were good friends many years ago. I remember him as very intelligent and often wondered about his life. It seems as if he blossomed into a life fulfilled. Well done, Keith, well done

Keith was a wonderful teacher and a wonderful colleague, energetic and creative, much beloved by his students. I miss his vibrant smile, and am sad we have lost him. Alice and I would be at the services except that at the same time we must attend in Maryland the high-school graduation of one of our grandchildren. Our hearts and hugs go out to Naomi, William, and other family members. Rick & Alice LaFleur
