Dear Erickson Family,
I'm writing to say that I'm sorry to hear about Tom's passing. He used to be a part of my street ministry in Minneapolis. He was a dear brother and also a friend in the Lord and will be missed. I thank the Lord that I had the opportunity see and pray for him a few days before he went on to glory to be with his Savior Jesus Christ! Tom, had a wonderful heart and right now he's rejoicing in his Savior's arms! May the Lord Jesus comfort your family at this time of loss.
Love in Christ,

Dear Don and Kass, Diane and Cindy and all relatives:
It's such a shock to hear of Tom's passing away and so sad as well. We have not been in touch in the past few years, but one always remembers the wonderful memories we had as kids growing up in the Erickson clan. The Christmas parties, summer picnics at Minnehaha park..travels to other relatives out "western" Minnesota to visit. Reunions, etc. were all part of growing up with a fantastic group of"kids" in the Erickson family. You can say we had our share of fun! In the sadness of Tom's leaving this planet so early in his life, I can only offer hope and a strong belief in the hereafter. I bet that that Grandpa Shorty and Grandma Inga, dear sweet Carl, "Dickie" Patty, Lee, baby Randy, baby Bobby and baby boy Erickson have already jumped for joy on the other side...and greeted Tom with love and peace. We know he is in good hands!
Take care dear Don and Kass, and remember the good times with your
son. And Diane and Cindy with your brother.
For all that is unlike love pales in the light of Spirit.

Condolences to Marilyn and the rest of Tom's family and friends. Tom and I worked and hunted together from time to time over the years. I liked his inventive mind and his double-take humor.
