I was saddened to have just learned of your father's passing. I'll always remember him fondly as one of the nicest gentlemen I've ever met.

I was so sorry to read about Tommy. Some of my fondest memories are from working for Tommy and Norma at Fleming's Young Years and babysitting for John. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Tommy contributed a lot to Lufkin
ISD athietic department and was an outstanding student.He was an example for all of his classmates. LISD class of '59 had some great students, Tommy,I am proud to say,was one of them. I enjoyed going to school with Tommy. Our sympathy to the family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He was a special person. I can still remember when Geoffrey,Jr. had a baseball birthday party and Tommy came to play and visit with the kids. Then later Geoffrey was the bat boy for your team when your Dad was coaching. What special memories!

Tommie Cassels Major (LHS '59)

I was a student of Tommy's in the mid 80's. I took his jogging class. He was full of energy and life each day. Although running was something I loved to do anyway, he made it even better. He would run along side us and talk to us thoughout our runs. He was a great inspiration and friend to the students at SFA. 22 years later, I still think about how great his class was. I was so sorry to read about his passing.
