It was just this week in October that I found out that Tom had passed away. He was a very good neighbor ours in Kelly Green and his wife Dorothy was so good to me when my husband was ill and then passed away. In fact Tom and Dorothy were so good to me and I just hate that I didn't know of this sooner. My deepest sympathy to his family.

My big brother Tommy. How can I put into words all that this thoughtful and sweet man did for his nine brothers and sisters. For me he was always there. As a teenager, when I started to drive, he let me take his brand new 68 Chevy Camaro for rides. Who does that?? When I was struggling financially he was there to help. He was the greatest Uncle to all of his nieces and nephews. Always interested in what they were doing. What were their future plans. Remembering birthdays, always there for family parties and family needs. He loved his sweet and kind Dorothy but after her death seemed to be lost. I hope you are with her now and happy again. Love you always Tommy.

My big brother walked me to school when I was in kindergarten. He took a knife away from me so I would not get hurt but in the process he got fingers sliced when I tried pulling it back. I ran and hid but he just shrugged it off. He took me for my driver's license and made sure I passed. He drove me to O'Hare to pick up my Tom when he returned from Viet Nam just before our wedding. Tom Fogarty was always available for us.
