Thomas Gentz Obituary
Thomas James Gentz, 47, of Rockford passed away July 8, 2016, at home. He was born September 25, 1968, in Rockford. He was very personable with a big smile. He worked in restaurants where he became an excellent cook. He had a passion for fishing, and was a very good handyman. Tom is survived by his mother, Cheryl Gentz; father, Jim (Cathy) Gentz; brother, Robert Scott Gentz; half-brothers, Jeff, Jim and Joe Dulmage; niece, Tia Gentz; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial service at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14th, at Heartland Community Church, Rockford, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. to time of service. Condolences may be sent to www.advantagefunerals.com

It should be known that my brother Tom had a s son and grand son Ryan Gentz and Ryan Jr Gentz in San Antonio Texas

To Tom's Mom,
Tom was very helpful with car repairs and he also loaned my son and I a very warm blanket when we were locked out in below freezing weather, as we waited for locksmiths in my car. Tom always spoke good about you. He has a kind spirit. Tom is in our thoughts and prayers as well as you!!! Take Care. God Bless You!!

I had many good times with Tom back in high school. Back in the days before the Internet when we had to invent our own entertainment and mischief. Rest in peace Tom.
