I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a loved one is such a difficult time for the entire family. I hope you can find comfort in God's Word the Bible. I am confident that his word will provide some solace and relief during this time of sorrow.

My condolences and sympathy to the family and friends of Dr. Giblin. I met Dr. Giblin while a suffering student at BC in my junior year. He was so kind, comforting, knowledgeable, respectful and funny. He helped me when my own physician had sent me to school with a possible diagnosis but no follow-up. At a time and at a school where reproductive health was not openly discussed, Dr. Giblin made it comfortable and easy for a sick and scared young me to deal with my immediate and future health care. I have always remembered and appreciated his compassion and caring and I hope those he left behind will take comfort in having had him in their lives for as long as they did. To the Giblin Family
My parents were from large families and wanted a family of their own. Dr. Giblin gave Irene and Mike that chance. He understood their strong Roman Catholic faith. My bother, sister, and I visited with this dear man a few times, knowing it was because of his talents, we were born in 1966, 1968, and 1970. On behalf of my siblings and myself, thank you, Dr. Giblin, for helping us to be born.

May you rest peacefully with Christ in Heaven.

Dr. Tom helped me deliver 3 wonderful children.He was the kindest,
nicest man, always available and ready to help, with humor, any
possible problem.

Condolences to Tom III and the Giblin family.

Dr. Giblin did something many years ago that you don't see much today. I was young, pregnant and was planning to marry my boyfriend at the time (my husband of 37 years now). I told Dr.Giblin at an appointment on how much difficulty we were having in getting a priest to marry us because of our age. A few days later my phone rang from Dr. Giblin, I thought my test results were abnormal and almost panicked. He called to tell me that he had spoken with a friend that was a priest and he was willing to meet with us. I get tears to this day in his sincerity and caring. May he rest in peace. He made a difference in my life.

We have fond memories of 20 plus years in OB/GYN practice with Tom in Waltham.We send our sympathy to Tom's family.Sincerely, Bob and Donna Wheelock.

Tom, was a great influence on my life, even though I knew Tom for a short while. He would always say to me "Always have a great sense of humor, as that will take you a long way in this troubled world". A great man surrounded by great loving family members. Rest in peace Tommy.

Met Doc Giblin in 1994 at a BC Football Captain's Club Dinner. I was a 24 year old intern and Doc was kind enough to teach me all about BC's rich football history . We shared many amazing BC memories over 16 years and I've always admired his kindness, sense of style, passion for BC and his devotion to God, family and friends. He'll be missed.

We started laughing in 1969 and continued ever since. Thanks for being such a great friend, father and role model. "What does it matter? As long as we're together!" Thanks, Doc.
