THOMAS P. GILLESPIE

Funny I was just thinking of him... I found Tom shortly after losing my father.. he really (unknowingly) came into my life at the best and worst time... his words of encouragement are with me to this day.. a couple of things..
When he was getting ready to pass on the business, I was scared.. 3 small kids and all... he asked me "What are you afraid of... sucess? And I went on to run a home inspection business for the next 20+ years. I owed it to him to be successful as he gave me all the tools. Another time we were having a somewhat spiritual conversation.. I asked him did he believe in God.. He responded with "I'm afraid not to!" we laughed so hard... so many stories. I used to tell him I know he had to be an under-cover cop or P.I.... cause otherwise, how could he know where all the good donut spots were at? I sure miss those conversations.

oh... not enough words to tell you what this man meant to me and my family. I am truly saddened by the news of his passing. My heart hurts and I wish I had the opportunity to speak with him just one more time.. to tell him how much I appreciate his support, advice and mentoring. Rest in Peace Tom G You weren't just my teacher and my boss.. you were my friend
