Thomas Matthew Hanson, 55, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025. Tom was born August 18, 1969, in Duluth, MN to Jack and Dori Hanson. Tom was a 1987 graduate of Proctor High School. He went on to further his education at Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis and Lake Superior College in Duluth. Tom worked for St. Louis County as a land surveyor for many years.

Tom loved to fish and enjoyed trips to Canada with his brother, cousin, and friends. He was a "Jack of all Trades" and could fix or build just about anything. He loved his flannels and would debate with anyone who would listen. Tom was very kind and would help anyone when asked. He will be missed by many.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Dori Hanson, brother Guy Hanson, along with numerous family members. He is survived by his wife Danise, daughter Samantha, brother Wendell, sister Debbie (Tom), along with numerous nieces and nephews and in-law family and friends.

Visitation will be at 11:00 AM and Memorial Service at 12:00 PM on June 6, 2025, at Duluth Bible Church, 201 W. St. Andrews Street, Duluth, MN 55803, with desserts and reception to follow.
