Thomas Heim Obituary
Born in Sunnyvale, CA, he was the son of the late Celia S. Heim and Frederic A. Heim, Jr. He graduated from Randolph Macon College in 1984. He was employed by Palmer & Cay, HRH, RCM&D, BB&T, and most recently USI, where he worked in risk management.
Tom was a member of Salisbury Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed bringing laughter to everyone around him and will be remembered for his wonderful heart and sense of humor.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughters Katie Anderson (Sean) and Emily Heim; his brother James (Maggie); his sisters Kristen and Tammy Heim; his brother-in-law Earl Dickerson (Mary); his niece and nephews, and his father Frederic Heim and stepmother Janet Heim. He was predeceased in death by his mother, Celia Heim.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2nd, at 11am at Salisbury Presbyterian Church (13621 Salisbury Rd., Midlothian, VA 23113). Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to the time of the service, with an onsite reception following.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Feedmore Food Bank (give.feedmore.org) or to Salisbury Presbyterian Church.

Deepest condolences to the Heim family. I just learned of Tom's passing on a healthcare production call. Tom was a mentor to me while employed at HRH/Willis and USI. He always had time to assist anyone with questions and was a true wealth of knowledge. His USI colleagues as well as clients and prospects will miss him.

Amy, Katie and Emily, my very deepest condolences for your loss. I worked with Tom at Palmer & Cay for several years and we stayed in touch after that. He was a great guy, who cared very deeply for his family and I know he will be greatly missed. Keeping you all in my prayers during this difficult time. God bless.

Condolences to Tom's family. He was a very nice man, and as a former coworker, I enjoyed working with him. He knew the insurance business like no one else I have known. It almost seemed insurance was both his vocation and his avocation, and if true, he was one of the lucky ones able to merge both in his career. Sympathy to you all.
