To the Heinrich Family:

Tom and I became very close in the year and a half that I got to know him. He was one of my dearest friends. I enjoyed every moment taking care of him at Select; but I enjoyed his friendship even more. Not a day would go by that he did not call, e-mail or text message me. Every morning I received a text "goodmorning sunshining," (not having the heart to tell him he can't spell). I will miss my morning texts and I will miss him deeply. I love him like a brother and dear friend. I feel cheated not to have spent more time with him. I know he is a much better place looking after each and every one of us with his unselfish caring way. My heart goes out to each and every one of you. May God bless you and keep you in His prayer. To Tom, I miss you, too. I love you "my best friend," Tracy

To the Family of Thomas -

Thom is one who was remrkable in his dedication to achieving his own goals without regards to his handicaps. I respected and admired him a great deal. I feel a real loss for myself and society in general. If someone was remarkable it was Thom.

To Thom's Family and Friends -

I'm one of Thom's nurses from Select and want you to know that being his friend over the past 2 years has made my life more complete. Selfishly, I will miss his phone calls and e-mails and him, but know that he is in a more powerful place. Thom shared with me the joy and fun that he had since going home from his last hospital visit. On a Saturday night he called to tell me about everything he was doing and tell me jokes. My favorite memory will be that hour long conversation. God Bless all of you in this time.
