Thomas Oliver Hill -MIAMI, FL- Thomas Oliver Hill, 85, passed away peacefully on 7/1/2011. -Tom retired from the United States Navy after 20+ years of service. He worked for Aero Systems where he made some lifetime friends. He dedicated his time to the Boy Scouts of America as a Scoutmaster for troop 258. He was an avid University of Miami sports enthusiast and was a member of the Diamond Darlings and Studs and other Hurricane Booster clubs. He enjoyed working as an usher for the UM Athletic program. He was a loving and caring father, grandfather and friend. -He is survived by his three children, Richard, Susan (Jorge) and Todd and five grandchildren Vanessa, Jonathan, Bryan, April and Carlea. - A private memorial service will be held for the family and close friends. He will be honored in a national cemetery later. -In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in honor of Thomas O.
