Pops enjoyed his fishing..He taught me how to cast a net.and liked to play 42.I do miss him.

Mr. Irby was such a sweet man and always a pleasure to visit with. He will surely be missed. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

The Irby Family would like to thank all the very kind and sweet ladies at Plantation Assisted Living, Porter, Tx, who so lovingly took care of our Daddy. Our appreciation is deeply heartfelt!!!

My Daddy was one of the sweetest men I have ever known. I will never forget... every time I told him that I loved him, his reply was always, "I love you darlin," and always with a smile. My daddy loved to eat. The Sunday before he passed, he was very alert and, I thought, feeling pretty good; he never complained. He got a big smile on his face when he found out that after his lunch he was having Lemon Pie. He loved his dessert. I was very blessed to take care of my Daddy. I am not a hairdresser, but he always enjoyed when I cut his hair (he didn't have much hair so I couldn't mess it up too much). And when I would do his nails and toe nails, he always said, "not too short now." He fell asleep every time. What sweet memories! I will be seeing him again!!!

I will miss him and i lucky that I got to see him and to know my great grandfather.

You have left behind many sweet memories and lots of laughter with your family - moments they will always cherish.
