At the time of his passing, Ed resided in Apopka, FL. A man of deep faith, Ed lived his life as a devout Christian, finding joy and purpose in his belief and the community it brought him.

Ed's life was marked by distinguished service and dedication to his country and community. He proudly served as a US Army veteran during the Vietnam War, exemplifying courage and commitment. Ed was a truly great guy. His composure and compassion made him a great Police Officer. He was a fantastic trainer and an excellent zone partner. I will never forget Ed.

I miss you, Ed, after all these years. We had so much fun working together on midnight shift catching bad guys. You and Laurie are forever in my heart and I miss you both terrible. I haven't seen Christina since her baby shower. I love and miss you all and pray that your soul is at peace in heaven with Jesus, your family and the glorious angels
