BROCKTON---Thomas William Ivers 82, beloved husband of Sandra Jean Ivers, passed away on February 23rd 2022 at home under the loving care of his family. Born and raised in East Boston, MA where he graduated High School in 1958. Thomas then enlisted in the United States Army. He served his country for 6 years and completed a 1-year tour of duty in Korea. He was a proud U.S. Veteran He later attended and graduated Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business/Finance earning Dean's List Thomas married his high school sweetheart, Sandra, on January 1, 1959. Together they raised 3 daughters, Karen, Kathy, and Kristen. Thomas was a proud provider to his family, having an extensive career in Credit and Collections for major companies for 30+ years. Thomas was also a Justice of the Peace for 17 years. He found joy in officiating marriages for a wide variety of people, including friends and family, with his wife Sandra by his side. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling the Caribbean, and spending time with his family. He was a history buff, an avid reader and "Tom Terrific" was always up for a good debate. Tom is survived by his loving wife Sandra, his daughter Karen and her husband Tom McNeeley, daughter Kathy Ivers, and his daughter Kristen Ivers-Williams. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Debbie and husband Keith Sherwood, and Thomas, Patrick, Cassidy and Ryley McNeeley, along with Sophia, Emma, and Lily Williams. He was also a Great Grandfather to Kendall, Kamryn, and Karter Sherwood. Tom is survived by his sister Robin Terenzi and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Dorothy Ivers and the brother to the late Ken Ivers, Geri Holden, Doug Ivers, and Randy Ivers. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday from 1-4 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Tom you were a great friend and if it was not for you taking me to Northeastern and encouraging me I would not have received my degree and my life would have been completely different. Thanks Charlie
