I loved Jerry Moore. He was truly my friend. I trusted him and he never betrayed that trust. My father also loved Jerry.

We liked and respected the kind of person he was: honest, personable, kind, smart, loyal, competitive, gracious, gentle, sensitive to the sensitivities of others, witty, perceptive, steadfast, and humble.

I will miss his quick wit. Jerry made me laugh and smile. He often reminded me of the time in high school when we double dated and, while parking, his car battery died. We both remembered the event, but had no recollection of who our dates were.

I am a member of MPPC and receive notices when a member (or relative) of a member passes away. Although I didn´t know your Dad, he was obviously a wonderful person - such a beautiful obituary.

Jerry was clearly one of my favorites and when he came to Grand Rapids, he always brighten my day. He just had that ability to brighten everyone's day when he came through the door. A particular interest in the obit was the comment about Old Black Point and the house you had there for your family. That was my family's house for probably 15 years and I grew up there. I hope his family enjoyed it as much as I did. I wish you calm seas and fair winds. Jerry.

So very sorry. Jerry was a very special person and we had so many good times in San Antonio. Although we haven´t seen you and Jerryin along time, we think about you and the Moore family quite often. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Upon moving to Hartford, my family formed an immediate bond with the Moore family. Jerry and I formed an immediate bond, and I remember him giving me a tour of his baseball card collection for which I was envious! Rest easy TJ. You´ll be missed.

Jerry Moore and Gail have been dear friends since we all were in college together. He was a fraternity brother of Beryl´s, godfather to our older daughter, neighbors in Little Rock and Palm City, FL. He was sweet, funny, and just a wonderful man.
