My prayers are with you. I never met Tom, but heard many stories about him from Ned and his seminary classmates here in Rochester. I hope this finds you well Jack!
May Tom RIP!
Peace and courage,
Mike Bausch

Uncle Tom,

While most others will remember you for your impact to their lives as Father Tom., or Monsignor Tom, my memories will be more simply of my Uncle Tom. Stories of you growing up with your brothers (Ned and Jack) and sister (Marianne) in the small hamlets of upstate NY. About the first time you and your brother Jack first became uncles, and of forgotten wallets. Bringing a gospel choir to Painted Post. Stark memories of time shared together at Keuka Lake including, my first communion, loud morning sneezes, the annual car wash, unique bathing attire, the lighting of matches, evening boat rides, and late summer family picnics among corn fields on the hill.

I will carry the memory of these and you forward, hoping that you find any joy that did not come to you in this life in the next.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Thomas Kelley. May you be comforted in knowing that our Heavenly Father cares for you. He will give you strength and courage to cope with your grief. Psalm 94:17-19

Father Kelley, you were my light during my period of darkness. On a Fall day, your sermon at Assumption Catholic Church, Wash, DC, was "God will not place on you no more than you can bear." During this sermon, I encountered God's great brilliant light and Him speaking directly to me about my situation. I cried. That Easter in 1984, I became a Catholic after many years of attending only Catholic churches. Thank you Father Kelly for that lifetime experience.
